About
I am an emerging artist based in the regional city of Ballarat within the Central Highlands of Victoria.
Working predominantly in oils, I paint from my home studio drawing inspiration from the Australian landscape and my local surroundings. Combining observed elements of the landscape with imagined constructs, my artworks embody an aesthetic that blends Australian gothic with a touch of surrealism.
I explore the interplay of shadow and light to capture a sense of beauty and moodiness in my paintings. Themes of isolation, the uncanny, and impermanence are prominent throughout my work.
My background in visual art, graphic design, and multimedia, supported by tertiary education, helps provide a technical foundation for my artistic practice.
